Understood all the questions the professors asked me and I think I answered them confidently. I'll just have to wait now, for an offer and for a certain green Honda Civic that's coming on Saturday...

They asked me to introduce myself, explain why I was interested in the course and why I wanted to go to that particular university. They also asked me which parts of the course particularly interested me and about stuff that I found interesting in my past education pertaining to the subject.

Ok, sounds like a pretty solid interviewing technique. So many of the schools in the US have such BS admissions, it can be a bit ridiculous.

It wasn't that hard to be honest, I was only applying for Geography And Resource Management. In comparison to the top UK unis such as Oxford and Cambridge, you have to go for around 3 to 4 interviews for them to properly assess you. It's slightly crazy. So far, I've only had one interview - I've already been given four conditional offers from universities in the UK, but the two HK ones have yet to make a decision.

Which UK ones?

Sheffield, Chester, Southampton and York. I need to submit a fee assessment thing to Manchester before they make a decision.

Southampton is but a couple of hours away from and an hour away from Goodwood for the Festival of Speed and Revival!

Going to the UK as an international student is pretty expensive though. If any HK university accepts me, I'll probably stay here because it's much cheaper. Heck, it's cheaper than my high school!

it is expensive, I'll give you that but you would be immersing yourself in a different culture.
